Take a class 上課
take 的語感更偏向「修讀、參與課程」的過程。
- I’m taking driving lessons these days.我最近在上駕訓班。(現在式代表最近)
- I am taking a yoga class this month.我這個月在上一堂瑜珈課。
- I signed up for cooking lessons!我報名了烹飪課！(signed up是報名)
- When do you start taking them?真的假的？那你什麼時候開始去上課？(taking是上課)
- I don’t want to take the english lesson.我不想上課
- Which classes are you taking this semester?你這學期選了哪些課？(classes為複數)
- I am taking a math lesson now.我現在正在上一堂數學課。(有now，代表現在正在上課)

這門課已經在你的行程表裡（有課），have 的語感更偏向「行程表上的時間到了」。
行程、有這個時間安排，翻開行事曆或課表，看到上面寫著「週三早上：數學」。
- I have my first class next Monday.（我下週一上第一堂課）
- I have a math lesson every Wednesday.你的課表上有這堂課
- The children have reading lessons every Thursday.「行程表上『有』這堂課」。
- Do you have classes today? 你今天有课吗？(注意！classes用複數)

二者都是上課。

In class
已經坐在教室裡聽講了（正在上課中)，注意！class是抽象概念(不可數名詞)，不需要加 a，跟the
be + in class
be 動詞代表「狀態」，代表此時的狀態在上課。
- She is in class.（她在上課。）
- I can’t talk right now, I am in class.我現在不能講話，我在上課。
- Please don’t call me when I’m in class.（我上課時請不要打給我。）
In a 科目 class
若有科目，就會有 a，變成可數名詞了。
be + in a 科目 class
- I am in a math class.我身處在數學課的狀態/空間裡。身處的『空間/狀態』
in the same class 同一班
class 前面有形容詞，就會有the、a。
- We are in the same class. 我们在同一个班。
subject, course, lesson
- lesson: 學鋼琴、學吉他、學開車、學外語（偏向練技能）
- class, cours, lesson: 學校的科目（如數學、歷史)
- subject為科目、課，此處的Japanese為日文，subject為科目、課
- course 代表一學期要上的課

lesson課表上的那『一節課』的時間（通常是40~50分鐘）

in school 在學中
In (社會制度)正在學校的體制裡面。她還在讀書、還沒畢業。（交代身份）
注意！school是抽象概念(不可數名詞)，不需要加 a，跟the
be + in school
- My younger sister is still in school.（我妹妹還在讀書/上學。）
At school 在學校/在上課
At (據點)地圖上的座標定位在學校。
- Where is Josh? He is at school.（Josh 人在哪？他在學校。）
- I won’t be at school tomorrow.(我明天不会在学校。)
finish school 放學/畢業
- My kids will finish school at ten past seven.(我的孩子们会在七点过十分放学。)
- When does your son finish school?
after school 放學
- Anna and her boyfriend will be at the library after school.
on campus（在校園裡）
campus 指的是學校那塊「土地、地面範圍」，所以用 on。
- Students are allowed to live on campus.（學生被允許住在校園裡。）
