- walk to 人:走路走向某人

to 的意思是「朝向、往…方向」,在這裡當作目的地的大門。

- What time will you get to the office?(你幾點會到辦公室?)
移動動詞 + 方向副詞 + to + 目的地
- 前面的動詞(go, walk, head, run): 決定你用什麼方式移動。
- 中間的副詞(up, down, back, over, in, out): 決定方向感(往上、往下、回去、過去、進去、出去)。

- 想強調「走路」這個動作,後面就要接 past。

移動動詞/be動詞 + here/there
「去那裡」或「來這裡」時,副詞 here 和 there 前面直接接,不用加 to。
- The hill is there.(山丘在那裡)

along 沿著 + 路/街道(沿著路走)

- Walk along the street.(沿著這條街走。)後面絕對不加 to
- Drive along Main Street(沿著大街開車)
- If you walk along a path, you will find your way.如果你沿著「健行步道」走,你就會找到路。
down + 路/街道 (沿著馬路往前走)
Down 在這裡不是「向下」的意思,而是指順著街道的延伸方向「往前走」。在英文直覺裡,走進一條街道、順著它走下去,就是用 down。

重點:強調從「室內(inside)」走到「室外(outside)」這個實體的空間移動。

drive off 偏離/開車離開
off:介系詞,意思是「脫離、離開(某個表面或範圍)」
