動詞過去式後位修飾

動詞過去式放在名詞後面，用來形容前面的名詞，以下為主動語態，並非被動語態。

名詞 + 人 + 動詞過去式
  • The hat you made is amazing!
  • The dress you bought is amazing! 「買衣服」這個動作已經在過去發生了！所以用過去式
    • 原句: The dress (that/which) you bought is amazing.
    • 關代 that 被省略了
  • The book I read was sad.（我讀的那本書很悲傷。）
  • The cake you baked is so delicious! （你烤的蛋糕超好吃！）
  • The gift you gave me made my day. （你送我的禮物讓我一整天心情都很好。）
  • The movie we watched was a bit boring. （我們昨晚看的那部電影有點無聊。）
  • The book you recommended is incredible. （你推薦的那本書簡直太棒了。）
  • The coffee I bought this morning is already cold. （我今天早上買的那杯咖啡已經冷掉了。）
  • The photo you took of the sunset looks like a postcard. - （你拍的那張日落照片看起來像明信片一樣。）
  • The song she sang at the party was very touching. （她在派對上唱的那首歌非常感人。）
  • The restaurant we went to last night was amazing. （我們昨晚去的那家餐廳真的很棒。）

  • The jacket you left at my house is on the chair. （你遺留在我家、忘在椅子上的那件外套在這裡。）
