sell(動) 賣

主詞 + sell + 商品(複數S)

• The shop sells earrings.（這家店賣耳環。)
• Does the store sell swimsuits?（那家店有賣泳衣嗎？）
• Do you sell the swimsuit that is in this magazine?你們有賣這本雜誌裡面的那件泳衣嗎？(「特定」的泳衣用the)
• Do you sell coffee here?（你們這裡有賣咖啡嗎？）咖啡不可數

be + sold(分詞) 東西被賣了

現在式（is）＋ 過去分詞（sold）。

把 is sold 當作一個「現在的狀態」（甚至可以把它看成形容詞來看待）。

• The scarf you like is sold.著重於「現在」這條圍巾已經是賣掉的狀態（買不到囉！）
• The earrings you like are sold.(你喜歡的耳環已經賣掉了)
• The earrings are sold.（這副耳環已經賣掉囉／被買走了。）
• Sorry, this item is sold out.（抱歉，這個商品賣光了。）

be + on sale(名詞) 正在特價中

• the ring is on sale.這個戒指正在特價中

be + for sale 正在出售中

• The earrings are for sale.（這副耳環正在出售中／有在賣喔。）
• Is this house for sale?（這棟房子要出售嗎？）

💡 總結小口訣

• 想表達商品「被買走、賣光了」 → 用被動態 are sold（千萬別加錯誤的 are sell）。
• 想表達商品「正在打折促銷」 → 用我們剛學過的 is on sale。
• on sale（名詞 sale）＝ 特價中、打折中
  • The car is on sale.（這輛車在特價便宜賣。）
• for sale（名詞 sale）＝ 出售中、求售
