心情

許多表示情緒、心理狀態的形容詞（例如 excited, worried, happy, sad），後面都需要搭配特定的介系詞，才能接上「引起這個情緒的事物」。

excited（興奮的、期待的） 這個字，習慣搭配的固定介系詞就是 about。 句型結構： 主詞 + be動詞 + excited + about + [引起興奮的事物]。

• excited about sth（對…感到興奮）
• interested in sth（對…感到興趣）
• afraid of sth（對…感到害怕）

be interested in + 名詞/V-ing

• I am interested in learning English.（我對學英文感興趣。）

be excited about sth（對…感到興奮）

• Are you excited about college?

be excited to 原形動詞 (興奮地去「做某個動作」)

• Tom is excited to learn English. 很高興能學習英文
• excited to see you（很高興能見到你）。

be afraid of 名詞/Ving (害怕東西)

害怕某個東西、某件事情。

• I am afraid of spiders.（我害怕蜘蛛——名詞）
• I’m afraid of getting lost.但我怕迷路。
• I am afraid of hiking alone.（我害怕一個人健行——動名詞）
• I’m afraid of animals!
• I’m afraid of large animals.我很害怕大型动物
• I will try and not be afraid.(後面沒受詞，省略of)

be afraid to 原形動詞 (害怕做…)

畏懼、不敢做某個動作

• She is afraid to ask questions.（她害怕問問題。）
• I am afraid to hike alone in the forest.我害怕一個人去森林裡健行。

hate Ving

• She hates hiking.她讨厌徒步旅行。
• The children hate cleaning the house.孩子们讨厌打扫房子。
• I hate traveling by air.我討厭搭飛機旅行

令人 … 感到

• that’s surprising.
• That painting is boring.東西令人無聊 Ving
• This song is boring.
• Is Japanese more interesting than French?日语比法语更有意思吗？
• I found the book interesting.
  • 形容詞interesting放在名詞the book後面，修飾前面的名詞
• That is an interesting ad.那是一个有意思的广告。
