1.放在句首（最常見，故事感強）

放句首只是為了營造那種「很久很久以前」

2.放在句尾（自然、當作補充說明）

• There was a monster in the woods one day. one day放句尾，比較常指「過去某一天」或是未來未知的某一天，視時態而定。

• I will visit Paris one day.（我總有一天要去巴黎玩——放句尾）
• One day, you’ll understand.（總有一天你會懂的——放句首）
