tourS 導覽總稱

這裡的 tours 並不是指「單單某一次」的導覽，而是指這種「觀光導覽服務/行程方案」的總稱。

• boat tours（遊船行程總稱）
  • 遊船有很多家公司、很多種不同的路線（例如：黃昏晚餐船、下午茶船、景點導覽船等），所以用複數tours 來涵蓋市場上各種不同的遊船行程。
    • River Thames boat tours（泰晤士河上的遊船行程）
• Bus trips / Bus tours（巴士旅遊總稱）
• city tourS （城市導覽 / 市區觀光總稱）
  • We offer daily city tours.（我們提供每日市區導覽服務。）

A tour 一次的導覽行程/遊覽活動

只想指「某一次」特定的泰晤士河遊船，你就可以把 s 去掉，冠詞給成a或the。

• We booked a River Thames boat tour for tomorrow.（我們預訂了明天的一場泰晤士河遊船之旅。）

A tour vs tours

• 單數（a tour):
  • 指的是「某一場特定、單次」的導覽。
  • We are going on a tour tomorrow. 我們明天要去參加旅遊。
    • go on a tour 意思是:去參觀，去旅遊，參加旅行。
• 複數（tours 總稱）
  • The company specializes in boat tours.這家公司專門經營遊船導覽。
    • specializes in，形容一家公司、一個店家或是一個人最擅長、最主打的業務或技能。專門從事什麼。

A tour guide 真人導遊

• We will meet our tour guide at 3 o’clock. 我們會在3點跟導遊碰面

plan a trip 計劃一次旅行

• we should plan a trip soon!我們應該趕快計劃一次旅行

on a 名詞 (在…過程中) 副詞

副詞的主要工作之一，就是回答動詞發生的「時間、地方、狀況、原因」等背景資訊，在什麼情況下，發生了什麼事

要加 a 的（強調這是一趟旅程/行程），只要加上 a，名詞通常會變成一個「具體的事件、任務、或一段小歷程」

• on a trip（在旅行途中）
  • Charlie got lost on a trip.(查理在旅行中迷路了。)
  • I was on a trip.（我當時正在旅行。）
  • We are going on a trip tomorrow.（我們明天要去看旅行。）
    • go on 出發去旅行搭配動詞片語
  • But next time, make sure to learn the GPS. It’s like having a new friend on your trip.但下次一定要學會使用 GPS。這就像是在旅途中多了一個新朋友一樣。
• on a ride (在搭車的過程中)
  • Charlie lost his wallet on a ride. 搭車途中弄丟了他的錢包。
• on a ride (在搭遊樂設施的過程中)
  • Charlie lost his wallet on a ride. Charlie 在玩遊樂設施時把錢包弄丟了
• on a tour
  • Charlie lost his wallet on a tour. （查理在跟團導覽/參觀途中弄丟了他的錢包。）
  • We met a lot of interesting people on the tour. （我們在這次的導覽/行程中遇到了很多有趣的人。）
• on a journey（在旅途中／在歷程中）
  • Charlie lost his wallet on a journey. （查理在旅途中弄丟了他的錢包。）
  • Life is a journey, not a destination. （人生是一場旅程，而不是終點）
• ❌ 錯誤: on a travel，travel不可數名詞，前面不能有a，travel不適用on，只能用while traveling (在旅行途中,動詞Ving)

on + 時間所有格形容詞 + 名詞

• On today’s tour (在今天這場導覽中)
  • On today’s tour, you’ll see Big Ben.(在今天的導覽中，各位會看到大笨鐘。)

on the + 名詞 + 時間副詞後位修飾

• On the tour today (在今天這場導覽中)
  • On the tour today, you’ll see Big Ben.(在今天的導覽中，各位會看到大笨鐘。)

on a 名詞 + 名詞 = 複合名詞

• on a boat（在船上 / 搭船）單純描述你人此時此刻在哪裡、或是用什麼方式移動。
  • I am on a boat right now.（我現在人在船上。）
  • We traveled on a boat.（我們是坐船旅行的。）
• on a boat tour (在一次乘船導覽的過程中)
  • We can see the River Thames on a boat tour.我們可以在遊船之旅中看到泰晤士河。
• on a walking tour（在徒步導覽行程中）

• on a bus tour（在觀光巴士行程中）

• on a Road trip 自駕遊
  • I was on a road trip, but I didn’t know how to use the GPS. I got lost.我之前有自駕遊，但我不知道怎麼使用 GPS。我迷路了。

the + 名詞 + 名詞 (專指這趟/第二次提到，要用The)

要專指這趟巴士導覽(不是任意一次巴士導覽)，要用The，不能用a。

• The bus tour is fifty pounds, including a two-day pass.Tourism Translation 這趟巴士導覽五十英鎊，包含兩日通行證。

• I recently went on a boat tour on the River Thames and the boat tour gave me a great view of them.我最近去泰晤士河搭了遊船，那次遊船之旅讓我有了很棒的視野欣賞它們。

  • 第一次提到用 a boat tour，第二次提到用 the boat tour

導覽行程不是人，但卻可以給give(擬人化)

• The map will give you the direction.（這張地圖會給你方向指引。）

The tour offers 導覽行程提供…

The tour不是人，是導覽，但可以用offer(擬人化)

• Lee explained how the tour offers details about each bridge as you pass by.李解釋了當你經過時，導覽如何提供每座橋樑的詳細資訊。（也就是：當遊船開過每一座橋時，導覽就會剛好講述該座橋的細節。）
  • as you pass by：當你經過時（as 在這裡當作「當什麼時候」）。
