• happen to 比較偏向「結果、遭遇了什麼事」（例如：車禍了、人消失了）。
• happen with 比較偏向「某個計畫、某件事情目前的進展或狀況如何」。

Happen in ＋ [地點 / 時間]

「發生在某個地方或時間點」， 這裡的 happen 就是單純的「發生」，後面接正常的介系詞 in 來表示地點或年份。
