這種用法中，due to 當作形容詞補語，用來解釋前面主詞的原因。

• His success is due to years of hard work. (他的成功歸因於多年的努力。)
• The delay was due to a technical glitch in the system. (這次延誤是由於系統中的技術故障造成的。)
• Her absence from work is due to a sudden illness. (她缺勤是因為突發疾病。)
• The cancellation of the flight was due to severe turbulence warnings. (航班取消是因為嚴重的亂流警告。)

名詞 + due to 形容名詞

這種用法通常直接放在名詞後面，當作形容詞片語使用。

because of（用來修飾動詞或整個事件)

注意：because of 後面也是接名詞或名詞片語，但它可以自由地放在句首或句尾來修飾動作。

• She couldn’t sleep because of the loud noise outside. (因為外面的巨大噪音，她睡不著。)

小提醒： 如果你想用最安全的寫法，當句子有 Be 動詞（is/was/are/were） 時，優先選擇 due to；如果是要放在動詞後面修飾動作（例如 cancel the trip because of…），優先選擇 because of！
