Hold(握住) on(持續握住，不要中斷) 裡面的 on，其實跟電話的 on 有一點點異曲同工之妙，核心概念都是「保持連接、維持現狀、繼續」。
Go on（繼續 / 發生）
- 例：Please go on, I’m listening.（請繼續說，我在聽。）
- 例：What’s going on here?（這裡在發生什麼事？）
Keep on（一直…… / 持續做某事）
- 例：Keep on trying, you can do it!（繼續試下去，你可以的！）
Carry on（堅持下去 / 如常進行）
- 例：Despite the rain, they carried on playing.（儘管下雨，他們還是繼續比賽。）
Move on（繼續前進 / 換下一個話題或階段）
- 例：Let’s move on to the next topic.（我們繼續 / 進入下一個話題吧。）
Drive on（繼續開車）
通常用在開車開到一半，短暫停下來（例如問路、看風景、或遇到狀況）之後，決定繼續開車上路。
- 例句： We asked for directions, and then we drove on. （我們問了路，然後就繼續開車了。）
- 例句： It was getting dark and foggy, but the driver decided to drive on. （天色漸漸變暗又有霧，但司機決定繼續開車。）
- 例：It was getting dark, but we had to drive on.（天漸漸黑了，但我們必須繼續開車。）
Walk on（繼續走路 / 往前走）
用在走路或健行時，停下來休息、拍照或講話後，繼續邁開腳步往前走。
- 例句： We took a short break to drink some water and then walked on. （我們休息了一下喝口水，然後就繼續走路了。）
- 例句： Don’t stop here. Let’s walk on to find a better restaurant. （別停在這裡。我們繼續往前走，找一家更好的餐廳吧。）
Ride on（繼續騎車 / 繼續騎馬 / 繼續乘車）
可以用在騎腳踏車、騎機車、騎馬，或是坐在交通工具上持續前進。
- 例句： The cyclists rested for ten minutes before riding on. （自行車手們休息了十分鐘，才繼續騎車。）
- 例句： Even though his legs were sore, he rode on. （儘管他的腿很酸，他還是繼續騎著車。）
Travel on（繼續旅行）
通常用在長途旅行中，在某個城市或景點待過之後，繼續前往下一個地方。
- 例句： We stayed in Paris for three days and then traveled on to Rome. （我們在巴黎待了三天，然後繼續旅行前往羅馬。）
- 例句： After resting for a day, the explorers traveled on into the mountains. （休息了一天後，探險家們繼續深入山中旅行。）
Come on 三種意思
1.表示催促（快一點、加油）
當你嫌別人動作太慢，或是想給對方打氣時，用這個意思。
- 例句： Come on, we are going to be late for the movie! （快一點，我們看電影要遲到了！）
- 例句： Come on, you can do it! Just a little bit more! （加油，你可以的！再堅持一下下！）
2.表示「拜託啦 / 別這樣」（討價還價或希望對方答應）
當你想拜託別人，或是覺得對方太嚴格、想說服對方時。
- 例句： Come on, let me borrow your car for just one night. （拜託啦，把車借我開一個晚上就好。）
- 例句： Come on, mom, can I stay up a little longer? （拜託嘛，媽媽，我可以再晚一點睡嗎？）
3.表示「少來了 / 拜託別鬧了」（不相信、無奈或吐槽）
當你聽到荒謬的事情、藉口，或是覺得對方在騙你時。
- 例句： Come on, you didn’t even study, how did you get an A? （少來了，你根本沒讀書，怎麼可能拿 A？）
- 例句： Come on, rain? We just planned this picnic! （不會吧/拜託，下雨？我們才剛計畫好要野餐耶！）
