or 代表「選擇」（還是…）。 not 代表「否定」（不）。

  • 原本: Is she going hiking, or not going hiking?（她要去健行，還是不去健行？）
    • 英文習慣把or not 重複的後半句(going hiking)刪掉
• Are they going to join us, or not? 他们到底要不要跟我们一起去？
• Are you coming, or not? （你到底來不來？ / 你要不要來？）
