meet(動詞) 開會

• Do you have daily meetings, or do you meet every week?你們是每天開會還是每週開會？

meet 符合

當 meet 後面接的是 deadline（截止期限）、requirement（要求） 或 goal（目標） 時，它的意思不是「見面」，而是「達到、符合、如期完成」。

have a meeting(名詞) 開會

行程表裡（有會議），跟「行程表」相關的都用have。

• We won’t have a meeting tomorrow morning.我们明天早上不会开会。

Hold a meeting(名) 開會

• The manager will hold a meeting this afternoon.（經理今天下午會召開會議。）

have a discussion 討論

• Excuse me, sir, are you having a discussion?不好意思，請問你們在討論嗎？
  • have 是動詞（進行)

discuss 事 with 人

discuss 後面直接接名詞，中間千萬不能加任何介系詞

discuss + [某事] + with + [某人]
