to be 成為/處於某個狀態

to be + 形容詞/名詞 「成為」

表達「成為/處於某個狀態」，是主動或狀態性的，不是被動式喔！

• to be perfect
• to be a teacher

成為

• It’s hard to be an English learner sometimes.（有時候，要當個英文學習者真不容易。）
• He wants to be a software developer.（他想要成為軟體工程師。）

成為…怎樣的狀態

• The duck must cook for a long time to be perfect.鴨肉必須煮很長時間，以達到完美的狀態。
  • perfect（形容詞），形容人或事物達到「完美」的狀態

to + 一般動詞 「目的」

表達目的、願望或狀態！

• She woke up early to catch the train. （她早起為了趕火車。）
  • 這邊的to是目的
