line 地鐵路線

名詞 + 數字，沒有the

名詞後面跟著一個編號或數字，（例如：Room 402, Bus 9, Line 3）時，這個數字其實就已經具備了「指定特定對象」的功能，因此**前面不需要加 the**。

  • line three 3號線

  • 沒有 the 的情況（名稱 + 編號）：
  • Line three / Line 3（三號線）
  • Platform five / Platform 5（五號月台）
  • Gate 12（十二號登機門）

the + 顏色 + 名詞，顏色前面要加the

當名詞前面有形容詞（像是顏色 blue）時，通常也是特指某個特定的事物，因此習慣加上 the。

  • the blue line.藍線
    • line（線）是一個普通名詞。
  • 有 the 的情況（普通名詞 + 顏色/修飾詞）：

  • the red line（紅線）
