be動詞 + between A地 and B地 之間

Between（在…之間）—— 它是「介系詞」
核心意思：表示空間、時間或選擇上的「在兩者之間」。
文法特點：因為它是介系詞，所以後面必須接受詞（通常是兩個用 and 連接的人、事、物，或是複數名詞）。

• The bank is between the park and the school.（銀行在公園和學校之間 → 空間位置）
• Let’s meet between 3 PM and 4 PM.（我們在下午三點到四點之間碰面吧 → 時間）

• I can’t choose between this one and that one.（我沒辦法在這一個跟那一個之間做選擇）

between 時間 and 時間

• I’ll be at home between six o’clock and seven o’clock.(我在六点到七点之间会在家。)
• We will eat lunch between meetings.我們在會議之間的休息時間吃午餐。

during(介) 在…時候

during 是一個介系詞，最基本的中文意思就是「在…時候」，表示一段時間或一個事件，絕對不能直接接句子（主詞 + 動詞），特定的時間或活動「進行到一半」都可以用during。

「during + 期間」副詞片語，它是用來修飾動詞的，告訴別人某個動作是「在什麼時後」發生的。

它的核心功能是用來回答 「什麼時候發生的？」 或 「某個動作持續了多久的時間範圍？」。

during + 名詞（片語）

❌ during 後面不能直接接子句（不能接「主詞 + 動詞」）。
