at work

work是抽象名詞，不可數名詞，前面不加a 或the

• at work(在工作 / 在上班）
  • Eddy is at work.
  • I can’t talk right now; I’m at work.（我現在不能講話，我在上班。）

work + 地點 在那裡工作？

work（動詞：工作）+ 地點

• Do you work downtown? downtown（副詞：在市中心）

in a meeting 會議

• in a meeting 會議可以「一場一場」的數，所以要加a
  • She was in a meeting.(她當時在開一場會)
• in meetings(mettings前面沒有the，用複數形容很忙)
  • She was in meetings all morning.她整個上午都在開會

開會

行程表裡（有會議），跟「行程表」相關的都用have。

• have a meeting 開會
• We won’t have a meeting tomorrow morning.我们明天早上不会开会。

in the office 在辦公室

• in the office（在辦公室室內）人在辦公室的四面牆壁之內。
  • Is the boss in the office?（老闆人在辦公室裡嗎？）
• at the office (據點)
  • She is at the office.人在辦公室這個地點。

go to work 去上班

• Lin went by bus to work yesterday morning.
• I’m going to work. 上班

work for 人/公司 (為誰工作)

• Is Anna working for two different companies ?
• Ben works [for] a good company.(本为一家很好的公司工作。)

work in 產業

work + on + 日期

I am not going to work on my birthday.
I don’t work on Sundays.

work from home 在家工作

谁下周会在家工作？
Who will [work from home] next week?

finish work 下班

• Emma usually finishes work at half past eight.

after work 下班

• What is Duo going to play after work?(多儿下班后打算玩什么？ )

hard

a hard work (hard是形容詞)
work hard (hard是副詞)

• they work hard during the week.(hard作為副詞)
• this is a hard work. (hard作為形容詞)
• The test was hard yesterday.(hard形容詞)
