ask 問

ask + 人 + 問題 (問某人問題)

• He asked me a question.（他問了我一個問題。）
• Can I ask you a question?
• I will ask Lisa some questions tomorrow.

ask + 問題 + to + 人

• he’s asking those questions to everyone in our class(代表這陣子、這幾天，他「正在對大家問這些問題」。)

ask間接問句

要「轉述」別人問過的話時（例如把原本的 “Do you like Rome?” 變成「他問我……」），就會用到間接問句。

直接問句公式: 某人問我是否….

主詞 + ask + 人(可省略) + (if / whether)是否 + (S+V)

• 直接問句（當面問）：
  • He asked me: “Do you like Rome?” （他問我：「你喜歡羅馬嗎？」）
• 間接問句（事後轉述）：
  • He asked me if I like Rome. （他問我是否喜歡羅馬。）

原本的 “Do you like Rome?” 變成「他問我……」

• He asked me if I like Rome.他問我是否喜歡羅馬。

例句:

• He asked me if I like Rome.
• He also asked if I like cats.(省略人)他還問了（我）是否喜歡貓。
• He even asked about my family!(他甚至還問了我的家庭！)

ask about

ask about + 主題/某人：意思是「打聽、詢問關於……的事」。

• He asked about my day.（他問了我今天過得怎麼樣。）

is asking

表達「此時此刻正在做」或「最近這陣子正在進行」。 用is asking代表持續進行。

• She is asking about the job.（她最近在打聽這份工作的事。）
• he’s asking those questions to everyone in our class(代表這陣子、這幾天，他「正在對大家問這些問題」。)

ask 要別人 做事

ask + 人 + to + do (要求某人做某事)

• She asked him to help.（她請他幫忙。）

ask + 人 + to + V (邀請某人)

• She is going to ask him to marry her…

want 要別人 做事

want + 人 + to + do (要求某人做某事)

• He wants you to go to Rome.(他想要你去羅門)
